Ramya Suramya is a Sinhala drama that aired on Tuesdays at 9 pm on Swarnavahini. It was retelecast on 1st June 2023 and went off air on 5th July 2023. WATCH IT HERE

Rajakaruna’s family leads a conventional life. Vimalavansaa Rajakaruna and Chandralatha are the parents. Vimalavansaa is retired, and his wife Chandralatha is also a retired teacher. Chandralatha is a miser. Sujatha and Pavithra are the daughters, and Vasantha and Sanjeewa are the sons of the family. Sujatha is married and lives in Moneragala. Pavithra, the younger one, searches for a job. Vasantha has gone abroad for higher studies. Sanjeewa, the younger son, is studying and has been aiming to get a place in the Sri Lankan cricket team. Surya Bandara is Chandralatha’s brother. He is a drunkard and gets money from Chandralatha often, despite being a railway guard. The Fernando family faces hardships, yet they live a peaceful life. Simon and Grace are the parents. Viraj, their elder son, is an architect. Ishara, their daughter, is a receptionist. The story revolves around these two families.
