Rakhile Sie Mariba Kie is a drama serial on Tarang TV. The Odia language serial airs Monday to Saturday at 6.30 pm. The story follows the lives of two star crossed lovers, Gouri and Sashank, who are destined to bring a faraway village glory. The village temple’s Ardhanareshwar idol had been stolen years ago. The idol had a bloody history. During the theft, the village Zamindar and his wife were murdered, while their daughter survived. The temple’s priest has a vision where Ardhaneshwar foretells the birth of two lovers who would bring the idol back to the village. Coincidentally, Sashank turns up to be Zamindar’s grandson. The plot follows Gouri and Sashank’s journey to finding each other and bringing the idol back to its rightful place.
