Mechanic Didi is an Odia show focusing on a highly efficient girl mechanic. A car breaks down in the middle of the road, consisting of a prosperous business person who has already employed multiple mechanics to fix his car, but in vain. Out of nowhere, this girl shows up with her uniform on and fixes his car without any problems. They then have a heated conversation and do not seem to get along very well.
Somewhere else, a mother-in-law is having food with her daughters, and here, the viewers are getting introduced to the son of this wealthy businessman. Further down the story, the son and his mother were going in their car somewhere but were rudely intercepted by this girl mechanic, who just happened to cause minor damage to his vehicle. He comes out of his car angrily, mentally notes down the license plate of the girl's scooter, and vows to put charges on her. Here is where the man takes first notice of this girl.
