Swarajya Janani Jijamata is a Marathi historic TV telecasted on Sony Marathi that premiered on 19 August 2019 till 3 October 2021. The show is also available on YouTube and SonyLIV. The show is about the life and story of Jijamata, whom audiences are widely unaware of, and the creators attempted to make people aware of her inspirational tale. Jijamata was the one who visualized the idea of Swarajya along with her king husband, Shahaji Raje Bhosale. She was the mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and it mainly shows her life from a young age and the turbulent times she grew up in as a child. It also beautifully covers all the phases and roles she played in her life, from daughter to a wife to mother to the queen of Swarajya.
