This is the story of Rama and Pratap, who are in love but are not able to be with each other. This drama depicts their struggle while being in love, and they want to stay together. They have to face many challenges and demands to be with each other. Pratap is the son of a politician, but he has zero interest in politics. He's a straightforward and kind person; however, he doesn't hesitate while interacting with the people of his village.

Rama and her sister live with her Mama and Mami with their cousins. They live with their relatives because their parents committed suicide while facing financial difficulties. To earn, Rama started working in Baisaheb's house as a housekeeping. Baisaheb is the mother of Pratap. The show also highlights the caste and financial differences between Rama and Pratap.
