Pasant Aahe Mulgi is a Marathi serial that replaced a popular show on zee Marathi for the 8 pm slot, i.e., Honar Sun Me Hya Gharchi. It ran from 25 January 2016 to 20 August 2016. This serial is about an established family; Punarvasu is a young boy who studies in Pune and resides in the boy hostel with his friends. Her love interest, Urmila or Urmi, lives in the girl’s hostel opposite to their hostel. Vasu's family consists of his mother Mai, his brother, Ramkant and his wife, and his father, Pant. His father is a priest and astrologer. The family lives in an ashram, and everybody respects the family.
On the other side, Urmila’s family is very liberal and modern. She has a mother and a sister. Vasu starts loving Urmi, and his friends tease him. He admits his love to her. Urmi accepts it. But his father Pant is against the marriage ceremony because Vasu and Urmila’s Kundali doesn’t match. So Vasu replaces her horoscope with someone else and shows it to his father. His father agrees, and they both get married. How both of them will manage their families? Will the two families be able to respect each other opinions/form the storyline.
