Gauri is a village girl who is married to Nikhil, a city guy. Nikhil is already in love with Neeraja, and hence, he could not lead a happy life with Gauri. Knowing about his love for Neeraja, Gauri goes away from him and started looking for her future. Later, Nikhil marries Neeraja and has a child, Asmee. Soon, Neeraja dies, and Asmee, who comes to know about Gauri, wants her to become her mother. So, she takes essential steps to make Gauri her mom. Meanwhile, Nikhil’s mom forces him to marry Aditi. At the same time, Raj, who loves Gauri deeply, proposes to her to get him married. Gauri accepts Raj’s proposal. But, Gauri is still in Nikhil’s memories, and Nikhil, too, feels the same as Asmee.
