Balpan Dega Deva is a Marathi serial that premiered on 5th June, 2017. It portrays a beautiful relationship between a granddaughter and a grandfather. Anandi is a young girl who visits Anna in the village Ambivali for the first time. While going there, they miss the bus they were supposed to catch but do not give up and reach somehow.
Anna, despite his residing in a village, is a progressive man  and wishes to see Anandi as an excellent and successful doctor. When Anandi reaches there, she is considered a Goddess in the village and gets trapped in a world of superstitions and blind faith.
The story revolves around her efforts to break free of the superstitious beliefs that are pulling her down and striving towards her dream.
