1760 Sasubai is a comedy show set in a police station. It is based on the relationship of a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law. Amba is a working woman. She is the family matriarch and is respected a lot. Teju becomes Amba’s daughter-in-law.
Amba is the constable in police department while Teju is the Police superintendent in the same station. Teju is her mother-in-laws  boss in the police station so her Sasubai/Mother-in-law has to work according to her orders. But it’s a whole different story at home where Sasubai/Amba becomes the boss. The banter between the duo is the main feature of this show. It premiered on 2nd September 2013.
