The Waking Of A Nation is a Hindi web series that started streaming on Sony LIV on 7th March 2025.

In 1919, the British army officer, General Dyer, ordered his troops to shoot at the unarmed crowd that assembled at Amritsar’s Jalianwala Bagh. Within 5 minutes, they fired nearly 1650 rounds, and the British government accepted that nearly 400 innocent Indians lost their lives in this shooting. After a lot of protests, Dyer was asked to resign. But what is the actual reason that made Dyer execute this crime? Was he solely responsible, or did he follow the orders of some other person?
