This series is set in the state of Bihar, India. The story revolves around Rani Bharti, a homemaker who becomes the Chief Minister of Bihar after her husband, Bheema Bharti, is forced to step down due to health issues. Rani Bharti is initially unaware of the political complexities and power struggles that await her.

As Bheema Bharti administers a proxy government from prison, CM Rani Bharti gets accused of misgovernance. Law and order have entirely collapsed in the state of Bihar and the opposition holds Rani responsible for the state’s ‘Jungle Raj’ facing constant opposition from her party and dealing with a husband who is obstinately plotting to overthrow her government, she is forced to make some moves that will change the whole political scenario. 

She discovered a lot of corruption and secrets while searching for justice. Balancing her personal life and work was difficult. Despite facing setbacks, she worked hard to bring positive changes to the state. As her time as Chief Minister ended, she looked back at her impact and the lessons she learned. Huma Qureshi plays Rani Bharti, Amit Sial plays Chief Minister Bheema Bharti.
