Launched on 14th December 2015, Genius was a History TV 18 mini-series that used to be telecast for the audience every Monday at 8 pm. It was an eight-part series that was dedicated to and celebrated the heroes and legendary icons who changed the very course of the world’s history with their monumental and magnanimous innovations and inventions. Interestingly enough, the show explores the different facts conveying the high level of competitiveness that went on between some of the greatest inventors of the world and the various contests that pitted history’s brightest minds against one another.
All of these stories were presented to the audience in a very engaging manner through the help of reenactments that often put forward new and exciting perspectives, which cast an impact on human life today. The stories behind several significant inventions, such as the airplane, television, computers, atomic bomb etc are explored in great detail. At the same time, the competitive spirits of various innovators such as Thomas Edison, Bill Gates, and Nikola Tesla are also highlighted for the audience. The show, in its entirety, told the story of the struggles, failures, and successes surrounding the greatest inventions of the world.
