Cricket Ka Ticket, the new cricket reality series, was announced by Colors and Royals Sports Group-owned franchise Rajasthan Royals. According to Company Viacom 18 flagship Hindi entertainment channel Colors and Jio Cinema, the show is available to watch for cricket fans around the nation from 19th March 2023. The inaugural edition of the show was hosted by Television presenter Mandira Bedi.
Talegaon and Nagpur were only chosen for the Rajasthan Royals High-Performance Centre from a selected pool of 22 talented cricketers from lakhs of applicants registered for trials in December 2022. A lifetime opportunity to realize the value of their cricket dream was provided to raw and uncapped players. For both men and women beyond 18 years of age, Cricket Ka Ticket trials have been conducted across multiple cities in the country. It is a platform for players to show their skills who have dream of making a career in professional cricket.
