9x was a Hindi language entertainment channel, owned by Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. The channel office was originally in Mumbai. 9x premiered on the Indian television on 12th November 2007.It gradually stopped producing new shows and began re-running old Zee TV shows. Due to lack of viewership and TRPs, the channel ended its application and ceased on 13th April 2015. ‘Babban Bhai vs. Bimla Tai’ is a Hindi Comedy show on channel 9x. This show is about two totally opposite kind of people. They get into hilarious situations and make the audience roll over with their humor. The male protagonist of the show, Babban, is an aspiring Don.

On the other hand, Bimla Tai Kirloskar is a social activist. She is known for her sense of temperament. Babban Bhai's father was very pessimistic. He never showed any belief in his son. One day, Babban Bhai decides to do something to prove himself to his father. In his quest to do something, he meets Bimla Tai for the first time. This meeting changes everything in his life. Babban Bhai's life becomes a series of insane comedy and hilarious circumstances. He has no idea of what is happening in his life and doesn't know how to control it. ‘Babban Bhai vs. Bimla Tai’ is a comic thriller. Tanuja, the Bollywood veteran actress, debuted on this show as the lead role Bimla Tai Kirloskar.
