Vidroh is a Hindi-language televised show on Doordarshan. The drama was a narration of the life of the fearless freedom fighter Babu Kunwar Singh from Bihar. It was a means to reminisce his life philosophy and rebellion against the Britishers before India attained independence. At 80 years of age, Kunwar Singh leads a battalion against the tropes of the British East India Company. The character portrayal was brilliant, and the audience loved this infotainment drama. Vidroh is one of those old-school gems amongst the Doordarshan televised shows that deserve a rerun just for the brilliant cast. The show is a retelling of the rich history of the life of a truly great man.
