Sitaare Zameen par is an Indian TV reality show that aired on Sony Entertainment channel for a month between 17 March 2008 and 17 April 2008. This show was different from any other reality shows running on Indian television at that time because it had a whole galaxy of stars participating in different tasks to entertain the viewers. The show was divided into 3 parts, basically 3 little shows which ran for almost a week each. These were fun based shows which provided the starts with different opportunities to showcase their skills.

The first one was “Bura Na Maano Holi Hai” which ran from 17th March to 23rd march. This was a Wizcraft produced show which included dance, gags and pranks played by the participant celebs on other celebrities all in the name of Bura Na Maano Holi Hai (translated to- don’t be serious because it is the festival of Holi). The show was also aimed at educating the audience about the origins of the festival of holi. The second part of the show was Mr. and Mrs. TV hosted by Shonali Nagrani Shonali Nagrani is an Indian model, actress, and e >> Read More... . This was broadcast from March 24 to April 6 and was aimed at finding the best couple in television by judging them on acting, dubbing, dancing and singing.

The final show was called “Ustaadon Ke Ustaad” (champion of champions). It premiered from 7 April to 20 April and was a collection of celebrities from all other reality shows who took on each other in the fields of Singing, Dancing and Comedy.
