. The plot is in context with two childhood friends who were separated and, met after seven years. The two were Mauli and, Nandini and, they both fell for the same person, Kunal. In the present day, Mauli and, Kunal are married for three years and, are very happy, whereas, Nandini is married to Rajdeep for seven years and, is a domestic violence victim.
Rajdeep even ill-treats her in public. Mauli and, Nandini was not in talking terms as Nandini chose Rajdeep over Mauli, even though that Mauli warned her of his behavior. They both reside in Mumbai now, unaware of each other. One fine day, Kunal ran into Nandini while saving her from a road accident and, discovers the fact that she was abused. Later, he came to know that she was his wife’s long lost friend and, plans a meeting.
During this, Nandini is raped by her husband, and, is pregnant. She wants to keep the child thinking it might bring changes in Rajdeep, but Rajdeep does not want a child and, beats her in the middle of the road. It was then when she decided to break free of Rajdeep and, filed a case against him.
Later to lighten her mood, Kunal takes her to a long drive where Nandini breaks her mangal sutra and, dances in the rain. Watching her dance create an emotional disturbance in Kunal and, later Nandini could feel her feeling coil up for Kunal too. The show has many twists and, turns where Mauli is unaware of the problem that she is losing her husband, to her best friend.
