Amol Palekar discovers that his neighbour, played by Sreeram Lagoo, is a painter. His portraits are very precise and admirable, but also spooky. A small town puppeteer makes fun of a legendary magician by making a puppet that looks like him. The magician gets furious and curses the puppeteer. Since then, his puppets start growing old,

display changes that a toy can’t do, coughs blood, and eventually seems to die. 3. The story was based on Steven Spielberg’s Extra-Terrestrial, in which a friendly alien visits the earth and finds it difficult to get back to its home. 4. The story of a home maker (Smita Patil) who was offered a part in a movie. Though she was initially excited to see herself on the big screen, the crowded set made her rethink her decision. 5. When we think of city romances in the 1980s, the first thing that comes to our mind is two people trying to steal glances at each other, mostly is a bus.
