Shobha Kapoor is a film and television producer from India and the Managing Director of the much acclaimed Balaji Telefilms, a serial production house based in Mumbai. It is now run by her talented daughter Ekta Kapoor. Shobha mainly takes care of the production and administration activities of the company. She has co-produced many cult Hindi serials such as ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ also from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ from 2001 to 2008 and ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’ from 2001 to 2004. She is married to veteran actor Jeetendra, and they have two kids, Tusshar Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor. Shobha and Jeetendra were dating each other for 13 years before their wedding, and former was working as an air-hostess then. 

Shweta Kawatra is one of the most striking and leading vamps in B-town. She began her career as a model and quite soon, her good looks and bold personality fetched her some meaty roles in big-budget Hindi Serials. Shweta was first seen in the tele serial ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’. Here she played the bad-lady and was critically acclaimed for her stellar performance. Right after that, she was also seen playing the role of antagonist in the popular serial ‘Kkusum’. Unlike popular vamps, she always wanted to go for unconventional and out of the box roles.

After appearing in these serials for quite some time, Shweta quit the show. Well, this indeed was a commendable decision on her part. Kishori Shahane is a renowned folk and classical dancer and a Marathi film actress from India. She was married to Hindi film director, Deepak Balraj Vij. Besides acting, Kishori is also the producer who was part of the film about Sai Baba’s life. 

She studied at Mithibai College in Vile Parle, Mumbai where she was crowned as the Miss Mithibai College in 1990. She initiated her career into Marathi films and gained her popularity through the 1991 blockbuster film, Maherchi Sadi and Wajva Re Wajva. She received praises and recognitions after doing stage plays like the Hindi play, Aadhe Adhure and the Marathi play, Moruchi Mauchi. 

Kishori also appeared in the blockbuster films, Ek Daav Dhobi Pachad and also in Navra Majha Navsacha. She also appeared in the Bollywood Hindi film, Pyaar Mein Twist under the direction of Karan Kapoor in 2005.  Subsequently, Kishori was also seen in the Bollywood crime thriller film, Red: The Dark Side by Vikram Bhatt. 

Kishori’s husband is a Hindi director who recognized her acting ability. They worked together in films like Hafta Band in 1991, Bomb Blast and few more films. During the set of Hafta Band, the two became closer and eventually got married. Later, she entered the Hindi television serials and worked consistently in the Hindi and Marathi films. She got more fame with her performance in the television serial, Ghar Ek Mandir, Sindoor and the Indian version of Yo Soy Betty, La Fea, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin on Sony TV. Kishori became a regular face in the television industry and many of her serials were aired on various Indian TV channels. 

Kishori also performed her dancing skills in India and abroad. She also made her music video entitled, Saavan for Venus. After many years, she joined the Mrs. Gladrags Beauty Pageant and became a runner-up in year 2003. As a producer and director, Kishori’s Mohatyachi Renuka got the Best Editing Award in Maharashtra State Award in 2007. She did the Hindi spiritual film, Malik Ek with Jackie Shroff in the main role. 

Kishori worked in over 40 Marathi films like Ek Daaw Dhobi Pacchad, Wajawa Re Wajawa, Atmavishwas, Ekulati Ek, Narbachi Wadi and more. She also did Hindi films like Shirdi Sai Baba, Pyar Ka Devta, Mumbai Godfather, Milenge Milenge, We R Friends, Superstar and more. 

She also did few television serials. She appeared in the Balaji Telefilms’, Kohi Apna Sa on Zee TV. She was also roped in to play as the mother of Vedika and Nihariks in the Hindi serial, Sindoor Tere Naam Ka. She was also seen in television serials like Kabhie To Nazar Milao on Sony TV, Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli on Zee TV, Do Dil Ek Jaan on Life OK and more. Kishori Shahane Vij is an Indian Marathi Film actress and classical and folk dancer. She is also a producer and an assistant director. She is a beautiful and smart actress who can bring any character to life. Kishori was born in Maharashtra. She went to Mithibai College. She started her career as a young model. Ekta Kapoor; a legendry producer in Indian TV and film industry was born on 7 June 1975 in India. She is basically the creative director and Joint Managing Director of her production company Balaji Telefilms. She is the daughter of Shobha Kapoor and actor Jeetendra. Tusshar Kapoor, his brother is also working in Bollywood movies. She completed her early studies from Bombay Scottish School Mahim and went to college Mithibai.

Ms. Kapoor has produced many wonderful soap opera, unforgettable movies and long remembered tv series. Nivedita Basu is a producer for Indian television serials. She started her career in the year 2000, by working under Ekta Kapoor in Balaji Telefilms as a deputy creative director. She got the opportunity to become Creative Director for Ekta Kapoor in the year 2004 when one of her bosses messed up the episode of serial Kasuti Zindagi Ki and was fired by Ekta. Later Ekta offered Nivedita was offered her boss’s position for successfully being able to mend the errors. She went on towards becoming Ekta’s second in command, taking important decisions about production house’s shows and the characters within them. She worked for serials such as Hum Panch, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasuati Zindagi Ki, Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli, Kahi Kisi Roz, etc. In the year 2007, Nivedita married lawyer Yadunath Bhargavan Karimbil.

Mahesh Anand is also called as Mahesh, was born on August 13, 1961. Mahesh died on February 8, 2019, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He is a professional Indian actor. Mahesh preferably works in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. He started his career with the movie in the year 1982, Sanam Teri Kasam. In the year 1984, Karishma was his second cinema, then Mahesh did many movies like Bhavani Junction, Insaaf, Shahenshah, Sone Pe Suhaaga, Gangaa Jamuna Saraswati, Hathyar, Ilaaka, Mahadev, Majboor, Sikka, Mujrim, Shehzaade, Lankeswarudu, Jungle Love, Aag Ka Gola, Swarg, and Thanedaar, up to the year 1990. Manish Goel is an Indian TV actor. He was born in Delhi but his passion to become a star results him to settle in Mumbai. Manish debut his career from Star Plus Saas Bahu serial ‘Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki’. He plays the role of Tushar in the serial. Tushar is the elder son of Prerna and Mr. Bajaj. The role of these two are played by one of the famous TV Bahu Shweta Tiwari and Ronit Roy. The character Tushar is a young and handsome boy who wants to live his life according to his own rules. 

In 2008, Manish was one of the contestant of reality show ‘Zara Nach Ke Dikha’. The show was aired on Star One. Kiran Karmarkar is a theatre, television and also a film actor from India. He initiated his career in the Marathi Theatre and played cameo roles on television shows and commercial ads. He got his first major role in the television show, Ghar Ek Mandir under the direction of Ekta Kapoor on Sony India. He got his fame and become an overnight sensation for playing the role of Om Vishwanath Agarwal opposite with Sakshi Tanwar in Balaji Telefilms’ Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii that was broadcasted on STAR Plus channel. Later, his character as Om was killed in the serial. Afterwards, there has been some changes in the script and he was once again received an offer to do the same role.

Kiran was born on January 1, 1958 and he was married to actress, Rinku Dhawan Karmarkar, his co-star in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. Later, he appeared on television shows and played various roles. In 2006, he was starred in television show Saarathi as a business tycoon. Then he was bagged to do the negative role of Tej Baldev Singh Bundela in Uttaran that was aired on Colors TV. In 2013, Kiran was nominated in the Indian Telly Jury Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for his performance in Uttaran. He also essayed small roles in some of Bollywood films.

Besides the big and small screens, Kiran also worked in some Marathi films and stage plays. He did a comedic role in the play, Merra Naam Joker opposite with Bhavana Balsavar under the direction of Shubha Khote. Kiran also played the main character in the Hindi play, Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai…! along with Shefali Shah under the direction of Chanrakant Kulkarni. Born to a Sindhi family in Mumbai on 5th March 1974, Hiten Tejwani was passionate about acting from an early age. Gautam Chaturvedi is a Indian television actor who is known for his character in the popular show ‘ Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’ which was released in the late 2002. He plays the character Gaurav in the television show ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’. This helped him to get noticed in the crowded film and entertainment industry and fetched him more chances and to work with better directors and producers. He did not take much to get noticed and got another chance in the television serial, ‘Raat Hone Ko Hai’, which was being broadcasted on the channel Sahara One. He was much happy and glad as he got a different role to play in his next serial ‘Raat Hone Ko Hai’ in which he portrayed the character of a detective.  Gautam married to beautiful women named Martha and have the two children.

Ashish Kapoor is a Delhi based TV serial actor. He was born on October 17, 1984 in New Delhi. Ashish is actually an Interior Designer; but due to his mother’s interest in television, he started his career in the industry and it makes her mom very happy when she saw Ashish acting on television. 

Ram Kapoor is an acclaimed and renowned television and film actor. Born on 1st September, 1973, he studied at Scottish High School in Mumbai, and Sherwood College, a boarding school in Nainital. He discovered his talent for acting early in his life and played the lead role in an annual theatrical production at school. He studied acting at the Stanislavski Academy in Los Angeles.

Sandiip Sikcand has tried his hand at acting, in both television and movies. He also has some experience behind the camera with directorial and production work. He is best known as Ektaa Kapoor’s blue-eyed boy given his rapport and business relations with Balaji Telefilms, co-owned by Ektaa and Shobhaa Kapoor.

Sandiip has played important roles in several television series including the hit soap Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki which was a daily soap aired on STAR PLUS and was based on the life of an ordinary housewife and Kesar which was a story on the life of a young Punjabi girl named Kesar. He has worked a lot with Balaji Telefilms so far.

He made his debut in the movie industry as Nirmala Pandit, the character of a eunuch, in Murder 2. His role was well appreciated merely for his guts to start off his venture with such a challenging project. After working for so many days on this project, fitting into women’s clothes and using makeup, he went on to say how he appreciates and respects women now. According to him, ‘Now I have immense respect for women and the way they carry themselves’.

He has also invested a lot of his years working as a television producer giving us some of the best series, mainly on Sony TV. Since he started early on his life, he has rich experience to back him and his career has never faced a roadblock.
