Ram Kapoor is a millionaire businessman who was recently dumped by his girlfriend and married someone whose brother is to marry Ram’s own sister. Though obviously being sad about his break up, Ram is trying his best to adjust to the changed dynamics between him and his ex. Meanwhile we are also introduced to the female lead Priya Sood who toils hard to make both ends meet for her impoverished family. Their principal source of income a bakery, is however under siege due to defaulting on EMI, to make matters worse, the bakery is owned in a partnership arrangement with Priya’s father who had already divorced her mother and is living with his second wife and her children. And there is no love lost between the father and the daughter who make each other’s life difficult in all possible way.

The plot develops on Priya’s sister’s attempts to set her on a date. While the date does not go as planned and Priya is obviously angry not just because she wasn’t really interested in dating in the first place. The story further takes a spin when it is revealed that Shivni, Ram’s sister who is betrothed to his ex-lover's husband’s brother, does not want to marry him as she is already in love with another who happens to be Priya’s own brother. And as it happens, Shivani, not wanting to go through an unpleasant marriage, runs away from her engagement, but to her misfortune, Priya’s half-brother sees her, recognizes her and he being privy to Shivni’s romance with Priya’s brother, proceeds to inform the Kapoor family about her elopement. They then come in search of her to Priya’s home and tension builds up in anticipation of an imminent face-off between the two families.

But too much surprise the two families come around to accept the relationship and agrees to arrange marriage. But Priya’s brother put forth a condition that he will marry only after his sister's. Desperate to save their face, the Kapoor's propose that Priya be married to Ram without actually checking with either of them. And unsurprisingly they both refuse to agree. However, Ram being concerned about his little sister, then decides to arrange someone else for Priya, hoping she will immediately agree to marry him. But Priya takes this as a slight on her pride and becomes mad at Ram. The serial airs on every weekday at 8PM in Sony Entertainment and is also available to stream on Sony Liv.

Bade Aache Lagte Haii 2 is a Hindi romantic drama TV serial that aired on Sony Sab in 2021. This is a remake of the original serial “Bade Ache Lagte Hai”. The story revolves around Ram and Priya, who are in their mid-thirties and are dealing with certain issues in their individual lives. Due to some circumstances they have to marry each other despite belonging to different social classes. Ram Kapoor a wealthy businessman, ties the knot with Priya, a girl belonging to a middle-class family.

They know nothing about each other and prepare for this journey of discovering love. Ram lives with his stepmother, who pretends to love him and care for him, but in reality she only cares for the property he inherited from his deceased father. She does not care for his emotions and feelings and tries to create differences in his married life. Unknown to her evil side, Ram continues to be the puppet of her hands until he realizes his love for Priya. Despite his mother’s constant efforts to ruin their marriage, Ram and Priya come closer but their happiness always remains short-lived.
