Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain was a Hindi Entertainment Weekly Programmme with the base of education. The show was termed as edutainment and was one of the most successful shows for English education. The show was aired on NDTV Imagine during 2008-09. The uniqueness of the show lay in the fact that it not only entertained the audiences, it also taught them the essential items of the language to speak and communicate in the language in an effective manner. A very warm and understanding mentor was found in the form of Arpita Sharma who took all the pains to present the most difficult things in language in an easy and lucid way so that even an average or a below average person may also understand the language. The show was shot in a classroom setting where all the students were from different social, economic and demographic backgrounds of different ages. Following the lesson was a small entertaining one act play and a song that highlighted and helped to learn the lesson of that particular episode.
