While Harshvardhan is an IPS officer who holds his moral beliefs and thoughts dear to him, Kesar is a typical rebellious teenage girl whose way of life makes her think that a harmless manipulation proves favourable in the long run. So what will happen when the yin and yang fall in love? The viewers will get to see warm love blossom between the two, leaving only one criterion for conflict— age. Down the lane, this show deals with the age barrier between the two main leads, which eventually gets more highlighted once they get married, and the challenges they face for it in a conservative Indian society.

The theme of this television series touches upon women's rights and their harsh reality. This show portrays a strong-willed female character, in the shoes of Kesar, who doesn't submit to the society-accepted atrocities against women; instead, she stands up for herself and is ready to battle any odds, not just for herself but to earn the affection of her husband. As a strong character, she is shown to have the determination to do everything in her power to win back the honour of her husband— which was lost because he married an underage girl. The male lead character beautifully complements the powerful female character with his progressive mindset and his desire to challenge the unwarranted taboos women are subject to in an orthodox society.
