She had to back out of the serial after shooting promos because of time clashes with Jee le Zara. She didn’t want to leave Jee le Zara for Aankh Micholi but was disappointed for not being able to find time to do both serials at a time. Farida replaced Meenakshi in Aankh Micholi.
