Bokul Tolor Adalat” is an Assamese serial that was telecasted on Rang TV and revolves around the village of Bokultol and its people. The people of the village in particular are considered to be very kind and gentle with a bubbly personality. Whenever there is a new dispute in the village, the villagers usually solve it amongst themselves without going to court or police stations. When the issue is bigger, usually the village seniors are consulted who then sit together in a form of panchayat meeting or adalat to solve the dispute. The serial is portrayed to be comical and humorous in nature but it also portrays some of the major qualities and important issues faced by the people in Assam.
