Zara Yaad Kar is a Pakistani television drama. It premiered on the Hum TV channel. The serial released its first episode on 15 March 2016. The serial ended on 18 September 2016 with the release of 28 episodes in total. The story revolves around a married couple and an innocent girl. Mahnoor and Hadi are each other’s first cousins and got married to each other. Hadi is an innocent man. He is in deep love with his wife, Mahnoor. During this, Mahnoor does not love Hadi and only cares about money. One day, Uzma expresses her love for Hadi, to which Hadi declines her proposal sincerely and tells her about his marriage.

During this, Mahnoor finds another man, Waqar, in the neighborhood. Waqar is an Urdu teacher at a local college. He is wealthier than Hadi and looks better than him. Mahnoor demands a divorce from Hadi so that she can marry Waqar. Hadi reluctantly agrees to the divorce to preserve his self-worth. Mahnoor and Waqar marry on the same day of her divorce. Waqar is an opportunist and only cares about money. He pries his eyes on Geeti, who is a USA return. He teaches Geeti Urdu and travels with her all around. Eventually, Geeti falls in love with Waqar. Waqar leaves the house without letting Mahnoor know anything about his whereabouts. After a few days, Geeti confesses her love to Waqar. Mahnoor learns about Waqar’s location and decides to call him.

Waqar convinces Mahnoor that he is in big trouble and will return home when things get calmer. Mahnoor does not believe Waqar’s words and starts thinking about the possible reconciliation with Hadi. She confronts Hadi with the proposal, but Hadi rejects it. She becomes desperate and searches for every possible way. This incident makes the situation difficult for Hadi, who still loves her but questions her idea of love.

Meanwhile, Waqar faces trouble when Geeti’s brother learns his true colors. He warns him to leave the city and stay away from Geeti. Mahnoor accuses Uzma of enchanting Hadi, which forces Uzma to ask Hadi to leave her house. Hadi becomes helpless and leaves the house. In his new home, he meets Anushay, Waqar’s new girlfriend. Anushay is unaware of Waqar’s past. They end up getting married. During this, Geeti’s brother gets involved in a road accident case. He misuses his political powers to get away with the case. Geeti feels disgusted and decides to return to America. She meets Waqar one last time and thanks him for opening her eyes.
