The plot of this show revolves around two step-sisters, Sofia and Zoobia. Like her mother, Farkhanda, Sofia is an exemplary child with ordinary looks. In contrast, Zoobia has good looks, is the apple of her father's eye, and has contradictory characteristics. Zoobia's mother has died, so all attention is focused on her and none on Sofia.

Zoobia falls in love with Shahzaib, a professional actor. Still, despite being her father's favorite, Touseef does not approve of Shahzaib due to his profession. As a result, she forms the preconceived notion that her stepmother Farkhanda is behind her father's decision, which fuels family resentment. Another plot twist occurs when Zohaib, a newcomer to the neighborhood, meets and falls in love with Zoobia.
