Jhooti is a Pakistani TV serial which premiered on ARY Digital in 2020. The story is about the contemporary issues of life. Jhooti starts with a girl named Nirma who is a cunning manipulator who can lie about anything to get what she desires. She belongs to a middle class family but wishes to live her desired luxurious life. Her only dream in life is to marry a rich man and for this to happen she is willing to lie, cheat and even kill. Nirma’s father loves her a lot and always supports her but her mother and brothers are always against her scheming ways. No one could call out on her behaviour because she always has a plan ready to counter them. One day she gets a marriage proposal from her neighbourhood shop owner Nasir.

Nasir is in love with Nirma but because he is not wealthy she does not like him. Eventually she marries Nasir not because of love but because she will divorce him once she gets his property and her plan worked. After a while they got divorced and she met Ali, a rich wealthy man who drives luxurious cars. Nirma falls head over heels for him and his money but over time Ali feels to be a shady person who actually does not own half of the things he claimed to own. Turns out he is a con artist and Nirma’s greediness will eventually result in her own downfall.
