. The real difference between all the other previous parts is the serial shows the story of epic Ramayana from Sita’s point of view not from Ram’s.
The story starts with Janaki who is a childless king of Mithila, and the kingdom was suffering severely for past 12 years because of drought. While Ram and his brothers were in the care of Guru Vasistha, while Janaki decided to build a golden plow and with it, founds a girl in the middle of the field just as he starts to reap the soil and when she cried the rain began to fall. Thinking it is an auspicious event, Janaki, wanted to find out the whereabouts of the girl, in due course of time Janaki, was shocked that the baby can lift the Shiv Dhanush, and he decided to keep the baby after the suggestion from Rishi Yaguavalkya and named her as Sita.
The story moved forward, and Sita was shown playing with her sisters when she came to about goddess Durga who had killed a Rakshasha single handily also she learns about the curse Gautama Maharishi had given to his wife, Ahilya. On the other hand King, Dashrat comes to the Ashram where Ram and his brothers currently getting their lessons and Ram come to know that he have an elder sister named Shanta. The story moved forward, and the adult Ram and Sita appear into the picture, it had shown that she stops the horse from the Ashwamedha Yagya which was conducted by King Dhasrat; later Ram spares the life of the horse.
After the course of events finally Sita and Ram meet for the first time and ends up getting married after the Swaymvar, this follows the incident of the epic, with revealing some of the secrets never done before in any previous versions.
