Sometimes people forget which is more important in life. They chose to ignore people and pick their traditions. People without tradition or culture doesn't value much. They are so attached to the tradition that they end up losing much more important one, relationship. This serial tells us the story of how a love that broke culture splits a loving daughter from a family. Gurleen is an Indian girl born in the outskirts of Punjab. She loves her family a lot and her family does the same. But their relationship gets into trouble when she falls in love with a Canadian named Chris. Her family strongly condemns her love. But she couldn't leave her love at stray. So, she leaves her house and move abroad marrying him. She leads a happy life there. But despite that, she misses her family a lot and feels guilty for leaving them. At her old age, her daughter named Simart finds out about her worry. So, she decides to help her mother and travels to India. She disguises her identity and enters the house of her mother.

She works hard to gain their love and trust. She tries to reduce the gap between her mother and her maternal family. But they are adamant about not accepting her. She makes herself noticed by attracting trouble. She even gets a couple in that family married. Meanwhile, she starts to fall in love with the son of her maternal uncle, Pukhraj. They soon get into engagement by the elders. She loves the cultures and tries to mend with the people there. Later, the people find out about her true identity. Now they don't treat her like before. Will she be able to gain success in mending the relationship between her mother and her maternal family? Will Pukhraj love her after knowing her orginal identity? That becomes the plots of the story.
