Tuza Maza Jamtay is the story of Subhankar (Rohan) and Ashwini (Monika). Subhankar Nagarkar is a well-educated man from an upper-middle-class household, while Ashwini is poor and uneducated. Subhankar’s mother is searching for a prospective bride for her son. Pammi (Apurva) is all about creating hassles for the Nagarkar household.

She senses that Subhankar and Ashwini, despite their contrasting personalities, are attracted to each other. Thus, starts her plans to create problems for the couple. The story plot revolves around the funny fights that ensue between Subhankar’s mother and Pammi. However, Subhankar and Ashwini get their fairy tale end. The romantic comedy-drama is a perfect fit for a prime-time show, and Apurva Nemlekar portrayed her character brilliantly. This serial received much love from the audience because of its light-hearted nature.
