For the first time, the show introduced a new segment called "Bigg Bulletin With Shekhar Suman," which aired on Sundays and was hosted by Shekhar Suman. Additionally, the "Weekend Ka Vaar" episodes, which feature interactions with the host, aired on Fridays and Saturdays (Shukravar and Shanivar Ka Vaar) instead of the usual Saturdays and Sundays. Evictions also took place on Saturdays for the first time. This season, Housemates were assigned to different bedrooms (Fire Room, Black and White Room, Cards Room, and Vintage Room) by the Captain or task winners.
Additionally, this season introduced a "Bigg Boss Anthem" as the morning wake-up call instead of the usual songs. Another interesting part was the "Bigg Bulletin with Shekhar Suman" a new segment where Shekhar Suman, interacted with contestants, roasted them, played games, and performed fun gags, offering a fresh twist to the show's format.
