Lakshmi started acting in her teens and she is indeed a versatile actress. She acted in all the four south Indian languages and also in Bollywood. Julie was her Bollywood venture that catapulted her to fame. Lakshmi tried her luck in direction too by directing the Kannada movie Makkala Sainya. For the uninitiated she adopted a girl child in 2001.
Real Star Upendra who is a multi-talented star of Sandalwood started his career way back in 1989 and is still busy now. He has several awards to his credit including Best Director, Best Screenplay Writer, and Best Actor. In 2014 he showed his love for humanity by adopting a 9-year old HIV-affected girl. He is also active in social welfare activities.
Having acted in Kannada movies like Jothe Jotheyali, Nenapirali (from where he got the name), Charminar, Pallakki etc. Premkumar is quite successful in Sandalwood. On his personal front, he adopted two physically challenged kids. He also planned of giving education to orphans.
Challenging Star Darshan is now one of the commercially successful actors of Sandalwood. He has come a long way and his passion for cars is well known. For the uninitiated, he adopted a tiger and an elephant from Mysuru Zoo for a period of one year. His love for animals made him do this act.
