Plot

Ramakrishna keeps his village active with his spirited nature. He is affectionate towards Poorani and she moves to the city to seek job opportunities. This screw-up Ramakrishna to take initiatives to retain the youngsters in the village by creating employment opportunities. His initiatives for a change in his place, throw him out with a not-so-good name. Will Ramakrishna get back to his place and regain a good name? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

Rishi, Shubra, and Pranitha did justice to the given roles. Arun Sagar’s potential is not properly used. However, he did what was asked.

Analysis

The film comes with a good star cast and they performed well too. Certain characters are not penned well, especially Arun Sagar’s. The screenplay and the execution are not up to the mark and hence the commendable performances by the lead stars had gone in vain. The dialogues are not much impressive and the same goes for the Mangalorean dialect. The visuals are decent and the BGM is okay.

Verdict

The performances fade due to a lack of gripping screenplay and narration. As it is the debut film, the directors are in the learning process. Probably, they would make their next venture better. Ramana Avatara – can be watched once if you have nothing to watch this week!
