A Million Ways To Die In The West Teaser, Trailer & Video Songs

A Million Ways to Die in the West is an American comedy film. It is set in the 1880’s and has an ensemble cast of Liam Neeson, Seth MacFarlane, Amanda Seyfried, Sarah Silverman, Charlize Theron, Giovanni Ribisi and Niel Patrick Harris. The film is set in the 1880’s and aims at changing conventional views of the people in a humorous way. The dialogues are written keeping current lingo in mind but the film is set in the 19th Century. The trailer is set at a breakneck speed and is peppered with trademark Seth MacFarlane brand of comedy.

The jokes leave you out of breath. It sees veterans like Liam Neeson unfetter themselves from their ‘righteous’ and ‘heroic’ image and show their immaculate comic timing. The trailer expletive-laden and assumes an unapologetic behavior towards it. It caters to a wide audience with its ensemble cast. The film received mixed reviews.

The reviews of critics ranged from ‘amusing’ to ‘a failure of craft’. Much of the criticism was aimed at Seth MacFarlane’s acting and direction. Another major cause for cry for the critics was the run-time, which they said was ‘exhaustingly long. ’ . The film managed to earn more than twice of what was spent in its making at the box office.
