Plot
Kiran and Priya are close friends. Priya commits suicide, but Kiran, the IPS trainee, suspects it to be a murder. However, she is unable to prove it. After getting posted as an ACP, Kiran faces some issues. Arun, a stalker, crosses her path and tries to assassinate her character, as she locked horns with him. Soon, Arun commits suicide and again, Kiran finds something fishy behind his death. Was she able to find out the truth? The rest of the story discusses this.
Star Performance
Payal Rajput’s physique fits well in the cop role and she delivers a decent performance. Vinod Bala, Maanas, and Roshan are good in their roles.
Analysis
A serial killer film should have a clear motive behind the killings from the antagonist’s point of view. Most of the films of this genre miss that, but Rakshana has got a reason from the antagonist’s side. The writing is not much gripping, yet the second half is interesting with a few investigation scenes. The first half is not written well and the execution is weak to the core. Though the second half is quite decent, after a few scenes, it becomes predictable. The music and visuals are good. But the editor should have concentrated more and trimmed a few scenes.
