Plot

Krish, Vinay, and Madhav are three research scientists who are unsure about what to choose next. They arrive at a village Bhairavapuram, which is haunted by a ghost named Sampangi. What will the trio do? Is there something else in store for them?

Star Performances

Sree Harsha Konuganti has created a fresh narrative for a change. He manages to keep the audiences engaged throughout.

The trio of Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi and Rahul ensure that there is not a single moment of boredom as long as anyone of them is present on screen.

Analysis

Some people have rightly mentioned, ‘Never judge a book by its cover’. The same applies for ‘Om Bheem Bush’.

On surface, it appears like a mindless comic caper, which has nothing much to offer in terms of content. However, ‘Om Bheem Bush’ is a rare horror comedy, that not only entertains, but also has a deep social message. On that note, Sree Harsha Konuganti [who has written as well as directed the film] deserves a loud round of applause.

Like the recently released ‘Madgaon Express’, ‘Om Bheem Bush’ has brought back smiles on the faces of those moviegoers, who were desperately waiting for a good comedy film that makes them laugh. There are some predictable tropes. However, none of them are cringeworthy. The film did not turn out to be as rib tickling as ‘ Jathi Ratnalu Story Coming Soon... >> Read More... ’, but the entertainment quotient was spot on.

The narrative of its film takes its time to build. But the makers ensure to keep the audiences engaged throughout. The trio of Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshi, and Rahul, who have returned for another movie after ‘Brochevarevarura’, are the star factors of this movie. As long as even one of them is present on screen, there is entertainment guaranteed.

However, there’s one thing that prevents this film from becoming a complete masterpiece. While the music was just about okay, the ending of the movie was something nobody asked for. Just like ‘Dream Girl 2’, the ending of the movie left everybody scratching their heads. Except for that, ‘Om Bheem Bush’ was an entertaining experience overall.

‘Om Bheem Bush’ is a rare comedy that packs a punch from the word go. Except for the bizarre ending, the entire experience was more than impressive. The actors left a solid impact with their brilliant performance. It is worth your time if you like comedy movies with a twist!
