Madhushree was born as Sujata Bhattacharya is from a family inclined towards music. She sings in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films. She has been trained in Western styles and classical music. You can find her voice in A.R Rahman’s compositions. Initially she was taught music by Sangeetacharya Pandit Amiya Ranjan Bandyopadhyay. Her parents were her first teacher in music.
