is the latest Tamil film which is directed by A R Rahim. Now let’s see what this film, which has new faces in the lead, has in store for us.
Plot
Set in the backdrop of a village, Nee Enbadhu has Mukil donning the role of a lorry driver while Shamja Rajendran manages a hotel in the film. They both fall in love with each other and as usual there is a villain who has an eye for Shamja. How the main characters fight against all odds and unite forms the rest of the film.
Star Performances
Both the lead actors are new faces. For such time-tested stories, it would have been better if already established stars are cast as the hero and heroine and the execution is done well along with technical expertise. Otherwise the filmmaker could have selected a new script and that would have given scope for the pivotal characters to showcase their acting skills. Having said that, the lead pairs are ok. Black Pandi takes care of the comedy; in fact the whole film is supported by his comedy.
Analysis
A R Rahim has not only directed Nee Enbathu but also written the, story, screenplay, and dialogues. The plot is very simple with the hero and heroine falling in love with each other with the antagonist proving to be a hindrance.
What’s there?
The music by Ravi K Menon, who debuts with this movie, is one of the major highlights of the movie. It is very soothing.
What’s not there?
Verdict
Nee Enbathu falls short in terms of execution. However, music by Ravi K Menon is good in the movie.
