Plot
Shrutika leads a corporate research team that’s set to research a remote estate in Nilgiris. The localities believe that men entering the forest will not return alive. Suriya, a local guide, is appointed to help Shrutika’s team. Suriya’s uncle, Dheeran, who went to the forest, didn’t appear for years. Dheeran was tutoring the village kids. When Shrutika’s team started researching deeper, they came closer to the death of Dheeran. Why are men killed after entering the forest? Did Shrutika and team find out the reasons for the mysterious deaths?
Star Performance
Vinsu Rachel Sam is okay as Shrutika. Chatherin Varuna and Harish Alag are good in their roles.
Analysis
The theme is different from other horror genre films. However, the characters are not written well. Dheeran is an important character in the film. His selfless role is underwritten, making him one among the ten. His role should’ve been elevated properly. He is just mentioned as a selfless person, and the strong scenes focusing on his character are missing. The songs are forcefully inserted. The running time is just over 100 minutes, and the unnecessary songs eat up some minutes, which should’ve been used to elevate the characters. The visuals are pretty impressive with the misty background.
