Plot
Kannan returns from the army to his native place Sankaran Koil. He has lost his parents and his grandmother is now living in his native place. Most of the people in his village earn their living through stealing. His friend also does this job but hides it from Kannan.

is the sister of Kalanjiyam, who is the inspector of the village. Kannan falls for her. Sri Priyanka, although hesitant in the beginning, gradually starts reciprocating his feelings.
In the meantime, Kannan gets to know that his friend is involved in stealing. He warns his friend and snaps ties with him.Meanwhile, Kalanjiyam gets to know that his sister loves Kannan. Though he hesitates in the beginning, he decides to get them married later on. What is the twist in the film? Do the lovers get married happily? Watch the movie to know.
Star Performances
Kannan, who debuts with this film, has given an impressive performance for a newcomer. It will not be a surprise if Kannan is offered more roles in Kollywood. Sri Priyanka has given a convincing act, and her dialogue delivery is commendable. She also looks good on screen. Iman Annachi is the comic relief to the film, and he does that with great gusto. Kalanjiyam has done a pretty good job as the inspector.
Analysis
Director Kathiravan has extracted good performances from the lead actors. He has managed to execute the film in a commendable manner.
