The film speaks about the street dwellers, who live an unsecured life. How the policemen and the others treat the platform dwellers are shown in Kabilavasthu. The street dwellers have no identity and they are not recognized by the government, speaks Kabilavasthu.

Star Performance

Some of the stars have overperformed and some didn't know to face the camera. Mansoor Ali Khan and Meera Krishnan are the known faces which we see in Kabilavasthu.

The director wanted to show the real situation of the street dwellers, but the way, he portrayed is not much impressive. Although he had brought the truth, some scenes test the patience. Nesam Murali, as a producer should have tried this film with some experienced director and the known stars. Filmmaking is a tremendous task and if the budget is minimal, the producer could have opted for some serial artists. At least their presence should have attracted some crowd. Srikanth Deva’s music is good. But, the cinematography and editing are a bit amateurish.

What’s There?

  • Script is good

What’s Not There?

  • Many unknown stars
  • Slow paced screenplay
  • Amateurish filmmaking

Although Kabilavasthu comes with a good script, the amateurish filmmaking with unknown stars didn’t attract!
