Plot

Gumasthan is a film that revolves around the muder of a woman. In this film, modern themes are used as the police join hands with the media to find the truth behind the murder. The police suspect the woman’s husband Andrew Pallipadan, they are on the right track but the husband is a sly and cunning clerk. The police are determined to catch him but struggle to figure out how, as he is aware of what it takes to avoid getting caught and the laws he can use to his advantage. The film is basically about this murder and its investigation in Andrew’s house.

Star Performance

Neema Matthew shows up and performs her role brilliantly.

Jias Jose also gives a worthwhile performance in the film.

Analysis

There is a lot of suspense and unpredictability in this film that keeps one guessing. The climax was impressive. It is thrilling to watch how a person who works inside the court can easily use his knowledge to his advantage at the expense of a victim. The touch of warmth made the film enjoyable, and the thrillers and suspense added to the fun. The screenplay and direction was done in such a way that it doesn’t fail to keep us curious and engaged, waiting for more. The method of investigation and the way the police worked was all very realistic but not boring at all. It was all depicted realistically and entertainingly. The music chosen was perfect.
