1. Kulappulli Leela

Kulappulli Leela or C. Chinju mol, as she is popularly known after one of her characters, is an actress known for her humour roles in Cinema and Tele serials. She was born in Kozhikode, Kerala. She began her career as a child artist in plays. As she grew, she acted in many amateur dramas and associated herself with theatre groups. She gradually entered cinema and is seen in the popular movie Pattanapravesham in 1988, directed by Satyan Anthikad. The scene in which she tries to attract actor Sreenivasan is very popular. It is from 1998 onwards after acting as a maidservant who fights with Mohanlal in the movie Ayal Kadha Ezhuthukayanu, that she began acting in Serials actively. She has acted more than 10 Tele serials. She did popular roles in serials like Sree Ayyapan, Sreekrishna Leela,  as C. Chinju mol in the Serial Sanmanassullavarkku Samadhanam, Minnukettu, Abhayam, Velankanni Mathavu, Ente Manasaputhri to name a few. She got more films from 2003 onwards after acting as a very abusive mother-in-law in the movie Kasthooriman, directed by Lohitadas. Her famous movies are Mizhirandilum, Black, Udayon, Shakespeare M.A. Malayalam, and Amen.

Her roles are mostly those of a woman who is loud, talkative, who abuses verbally, and as someone who constantly tries to create problems in other people’s lives due to her jealousy. She does all this in her unique style, which attracts the audience.  Her real life is very tragic. She had lost her first husband due to illness, and both her children died at young ages. Kulappulli Leela is now married to Bhuvanachandran and lives with her mother at Piravom.

Nilambur Ayisha is a theater and film actress of the Malayalam entertainment industry. Her first name comes from the place where she belongs to. She is seen as one of the most inspiring personalities of the industry. She started her career as a theater artist. Ayisha, a Muslim woman, entered the stage when it was taboo for a Muslim woman to do so. Despite people pelting stones at her during her performance, Ayisha remained unflinching. She belonged to a rich family, but some section of the society was not acceptable to a woman taking part in plays.
