Plot
The film revolves around Ram, who falls in love with Radha. However, Radha is more devoted to the society. How will Ram win her heart?

If there is something good about this film, it is the background score of this film, and to some extent the musical score. Not because the songs are brilliant, but because it somehow helps the people to pass time.
Analysis
How do you make a film that evokes no interest at all? No director ever has the vision of making a boring film. They at least attempt to do something that evokes the interest of the audience, even if just for a few seconds!
However, writer Roopesh G Raj and director TS Krishnamurthy had other ideas. They have made a film that is blander than a regular English full-course meal!
We are just not making this up. Right from the word go, this film makes you drowsy by sheer boredom. Neither the dialogues nor even the performances by the actors make this remotely interesting. The visuals, as well as the effects, are extremely rudimentary, which is not at all good for any romantic drama, forget ‘Manadarasi’.
Even if this film had something ‘so bad that it is good’, it would have had some value. But ‘Manadarasi’ is that soulless story that makes you wonder, ‘Is this for real?’ Yes, the film is that bad.
The film is not more than 2 hours long. Yet, the way the makers have executed the narrative makes the viewers restless with impatience, wondering when this film will end. Roopesh G Raj fails to impress with either his script or his acting. Suhana S Gowda tries to act but fails to lift the narrative that does not even exist in the first place. For the supporting cast, the less said, the better.

‘Manadarasi’ is that one romantic drama that is devoid of any emotions, forget romance and drama in itself. Roopesh G Raj tries to impress as both the writer and the lead actor. However, the execution is far from impressive. Watch this film, if only for the musical score.      Â
