Plot

Heard about the Aarushi murder case? Yes, the girl that was allegedly killed by her parents. Rahasya is an adaptation of that murder case. Kay Kay Menon who plays the role of CBI Officer is outstanding in his role. He has given a subtle performance. Analysis

The film was passed by the censor board, but the Talwars (actual parents of Aarushi) opposed the release as they feared it could damage the image of the family. The Talwars even went on to file a case as the film was released without any screening. None of this stopped the release.

What’s there?

The director seems to have a great affection for Mumbai’s underbelly. He shoots it with great aesthetic sense. In this regard Faroukh Mistry’s camera does an ok job.
