Plot

Satya and Savi are lovers. Savi was a sprinter, and Satya is a cool guy. Satya’s estranged dad is Atul Borkar, a boxing instructor. When Savi becomes unfit as an athlete, she decides to end her life. Satya saves her, and he falls for her at first sight. In a situation, Satya loses a vast sum, which he had to deliver to Victor, his boss. He approaches Savi to help him in making up the money. So, she decided to help him. But, her estranged dad is the only source who she can approach. Did she approach him? Was her father able to help her? The rest of the story deals with it.

Star Performance

Taapsee is good as usual. She proved once again that she is capable of handling any character. Tahir fits well in the role and shares good on-screen chemistry with Taapsee. The rest of the stars did justice to the given roles.

Analysis

Although it is an adaptation of the German film Run Lola Run, Looop Lapeta is made to suit Indian sensibilities. Some characters are designed a bit differently from the original. Taapsee’s choice of movies is different, and this one also stands in that queue. The screenplay is okayish, and the execution is good. The cinematography and the BGM are fine.

Verdict

With Taapsee as a huge asset, the film comes with a good script and other talented artists. If you want to watch a movie of multiple genres, this film will suit you!
