Star performance

Samar Vermani and Vaibhav Roy have given a decent performance. Dolly Ahluwalia and Tisca Chopra have done what is given to them. However, their characters should have been designed better. Ishita Dutta did her part well as a Pakistani mother and Om Puri’s role as a cab driver is quite decent.

Nitin Keswani and Manav Bhalla tried to bring the real story about India and Pakistan, but they didn't make it to the point. There are too many subplots in the film which irk the audiences. The sequences in the second half come with a lot of detailed explanation but it doesn't bring anything impressive.

What's there?

  •  Performances of the stars are acceptable
  • The cinematography is okayish

What’s not there?

  • Music is not good except the title track

As the film is less than 2 hours, we don't find anything dragging in the story, but the screenplay and execution could have been better. Lashtam Pashtam fails to impress the audiences. If you have no films, this weekend, you could watch the film, once.
