Plot

An India-Pakistan border catches a wildfire that takes a toll on the soldiers’ life. An Indian and a Pakistani are the only two soldiers left. What follows are ironic situations that lead to an unexpected end.

This film has without any doubt become very impactful because of the well-executed script and efforts by the director.

Movies like these prove that Indian cinema is so much more than just dramatic films full of dances and songs. This movie is a blend of good theme and fine direction.  This movie makes so much sense that you just cannot take this film for granted

  1. Good thing about this movie is the fact that it takes both India and Pakistan’s viewpoints into consideration and is not biased towards any one of the two.
  2. This movie has a good variety of emotions to offer as it has a combination of intensity and seriousness along with some good humor and sarcastic comments without hurting the sentiments of the two countries at hand.
  3. Gulzar has spread his charm yet again in this movie as he has written some very clever, witty and satirical dialogues.

What’s not there?

The only thing that is a shortcoming for this movie is that the film loses its grip towards the second half. The pace of the movie becomes slow and dragging, and you will start to lose your interest as the movie glides towards the end.
