Indian Never Again Nirbhaya Movie Review

Plot

The movie is set around the Nirbhaya case, a gang rape and violence case that shook the whole nation in 2012.  The incident took place in Delhi in December 2012.

I would say that the actors have done a justified job of portraying such heavy emotions.

Analysis

How do you analyse a movie correctly enough to not offend the original incident and the people involved in it? The original incident was horrendous and when some would agree that it is a good attempt to create a movie to bring awareness, but I disagree, and I believe this is the worst way anyone could honour the memory of Nirbhaya and bring justice to her story. Making money off a horrible incident falls way far in the moral category. There is nothing much to discuss the case and it stands the case that no movie should be made on this matter. In a very evil way, the writers and director added their dirty politics into this movie and continued their insensitivity. The movie in its entirety is a joke, a laughing matter, a very cruel way of making the parents of the victim re-live what happened to their daughter without warning, showing the scenes of the rape, all the while making money for it. While I agree that matters like this need to be talked about, making a movie for entertainment purposes is not the way to go.
