Ekta Kapoor; a legendry producer in Indian TV and film industry was born on 7 June 1975 in India. She is basically the creative director and Joint Managing Director of her production company Balaji Telefilms. She is the daughter of Shobha Kapoor and actor Jeetendra. Tusshar Kapoor, his brother is also working in Bollywood movies. She completed her early studies from Bombay Scottish School Mahim and went to college Mithibai.

Ms. Kapoor has produced many wonderful soap opera, unforgettable movies and long remembered tv series. Kasturi, Kabhii sautan Kabhi Sahelii, Hum Paanch, Kasautii Zindagii Ki, Kahiin to Hoga, Miya Fauj mein Biwi Mauj Mein, Kkavyanjali, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kkusum, Kitani Mohabbat Hai, Kutumb, Tere Liye, Bandini, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka and Kya Hua Tera Vaada are some of her most likeable soap operas. Presently, she is working on Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Pavitra Bandha, Pavitra Rishta and Ye Hai Mohabbatein.

Ekta began her Bollywood career as producer in 2001 started with Kyo Kii Main Jhuth Nahi Bolta and Kucch to hai. Her one of the very famous movie Krishna Cottage broke many records and still remains most favorite. She is also known by her block buster movies Once Upon a time in Mumbai, Dirty Picture, Shootout at Wadala, Once Upon a time in Mumbai dobara, Eik Villan, C Kkompany and Ek Thi Daayan.

2. Shraddha Kapoor

Shraddha Kapoor, born on March 3rd, 1989, is a young emerging actress of Hindi Film Industry. She is the daughter of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor and niece of famous actress Padmini Kolhapure. Shraddha started her acting career in the year 2010 with a film called Teen Patti which had Amitabh Bachchan, Ben Kingsley and R. Madhavan in it. Though the film did not do well at the box office, her performance got some attention. Her second film was Luv Ka the End (a teen comedy), opposite Taaha Shah, which failed to perform at the box office but Shraddha’s performance in the movie was very well appreciated by the film critics. Even after giving two consecutive flops, Shraddha went on to take a major risk and cancelled her three-film contract with Yash Raj Films, signing a Mohit Suri directorial flick Aashiqui 2 which was a sequel to a 1990 cult film Aashiqui.

Shobha Kapoor is a film and television producer from India and the Managing Director of the much acclaimed Balaji Telefilms, a serial production house based in Mumbai. It is now run by her talented daughter Ekta Kapoor. Shobha mainly takes care of the production and administration activities of the company. She has co-produced many cult Hindi serials such as ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ also from 2000 to 2008, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ from 2001 to 2008 and ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’ from 2001 to 2004. Chetan Bhagat is a renowned Indian author who was born on 22 April 1974. Bhagat also is a columnist, screenwriter, motivational speaker and a television personality.


Bhagat’s father was in the army and his mother worked as a government employee in the agricultural department. Chetan has done his graduation from the Hindi High School, Dhaula Kuan in 1991. He has completed the under graduation program in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1995 and MBA Program from IIM Ahmedabad in 1997. He got married to a Tamilian girl, Anusha Suryanarayanan.


He made his debut with the novel – ‘Five Point Someone’ in 2004, which he wrote while he was working at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banker. After being listed in World’s 100 Most Influential People by Time Magazine in 2010, he released the novel – ‘Revolution 2020’. Bhagat also wrote columns about the youth based on which he published a book named ‘What Young India Wants’ in 2012.


He was recognized as a screenplay writer with his debut film ‘Kick’. In 2013 he did screenwriting for ‘Kai PO Che!’ for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Screenplay. His latest work ‘Half Girlfriend (2014)’ is now being reformed into a Bollywood Film which is expected in 2016.

7. Jeet Gannguli


Jeet Gannguli Hindi Singer

Jeet Gannguli is a famous singer and music composer of Hindi and Bengali films. He was born as Chandrajeet Ganguly on February 10, 1977, in Mumbai, India. He started his journey as a musician at the tender age of three. He completed his studies at Baranagore Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama High School in West Bengal and subsequently graduated from the University of Calcutta. 


Jeet was trained in classical music under his father, Kali Ganguly’s guidance, along with his aunt, Shibani Roychowdhury. He also studied jazz, rock and western classical music with Karlton Kitto. He has scored music for several Bollywood and Tollywood films. Jeet got his first major break when he teamed up with Pritam Chakraborty in scoring the music for Sanjay Gadhvi’s Tere Liye in 2001. 


The Jeet-Pritam duo was roped in another Gadhvi’s film, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai in the following year. They composed all the songs in the movie. When the duo parted ways, he started to score music for Hindi and Bengali movies, television series and jingles. He composed the music for the Bollywood film, Morning Walk, from which he won the Upcoming Music Composer of the Year award in Mirchi Music Awards in 2009 for the song Bhor Bhayo. Jeet scored music for films like Cheenti Chennti Bang Bang, Mumbai Cutting, Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi, Blood Money and Raaz 3. 


In 2013, he composed six songs from the blockbuster romantic musical drama film, Aashiqui 2. He earned Filmfare Award, Zee Cine Award and IIFA Award for Best Music Director for this movie. He also received a nomination at the Screen Awards for Best Music Director. 


Later, he scored few songs from the films Youngistaan, Singham Returns and City Lights. This 2015, he worked for films like Alone, Mr. X Khamoshiyan, Welcome to Karachi, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Ishqedarriyaan. He is currently working in the upcoming Bollywood films Phir Se, Ishq Junoon, Hate Story 3, Junooniyat and Secret. 


He made his acting debut in Bengali through the 2004 film, Premi; the remake of the Telugu film, Nee Sneham. He was starred and worked on the music of the Bengali films Bandhan in 2004 and Yuddho and Shubhodrishti in 2005. He scored the music for several Bengali films including Eri Naam Prem, Refugee, I Love You, Tiger, Premer Kahini. Mon Mane Na, Amanush, Paglu, Awara, and Boss: Born to Rule, Rangbaaz, Game, Herogiri, Besh Korechi Prem Korechi and many more.
